"PORTAL OVER INDY"
We were e-mailed a photo taken by an Indianapolis local of a strange swirling mass concentrated over the city. It was giving off PKE levels that could be read hundreds of miles away.
The clouds above soon cleared to reveal an opened portal...to where, we didn't have an answer. Thousands of Ectoplasmic entities were pouring out by the minute. The phantoms wasted no time attacking the city. Class 6's and 7's were spreading at an alarming rate.
Once outside, they found the streets to be deserted. Within a mere hour, ghosts had taken over. Empty cars were blocking the roads. Power was out all over the town. The ghosts must have had their hands full with the other teams because there weren't many remaining around the portal. It wasn't too difficult to clear them out.
The team crossed the streams to exponentially enhance the power of their packs. This in turn collapsed the portal around itself.

Every available field agent who could make it was called in for duty. This was assured to be more than a single team job.
In the confusion on the initial attack, the team ran for cover and, in turn, got separated from each other having only limited radio contact as communication. One team, who ran into a convention center, found themselves in the dark after the Phantoms managed to cut the power. Having only emergency lights to work with, they starting working on a plan. After coordinating through radio with the other teams, they found themselves to be right at the epicenter of the portal, and therefore, the optimal group to close the portal. Unfortuantely they would need the other teams to draw the phantoms away. They worked their way through a car garage to get into position.

Although the portal was sealed, the phantoms were not pulled back in. Looks like all vacations will be on hold for some time to come. At least Indianapolis is back to the way they found it.... well, for the most part, anyway.
